Sherpa Marketing Ltd have made two new key appointments this month, as the specialist technology agency continues its rapid growth and international expansion.

Former Marketing Manager for Surrey County Cricket Club and the Kia Oval, Lois Dixon, has joined as Marketing Manager and Paul Hancock, former Sales Director at Anuta Networks, has joined the team as Business Development Director.

Sherpa is a fast paced, rapidly growing agency that offers marketing expertise for the tech world. The past two years have seen some momentous changes for the agency, with the acquisition of the award winning ‘The IT Marketing Agency’ in 2016 and the relocation of the Sherpa HQ to larger, purpose built premises earlier this year.

“Sherpa understands that today’s technology buying habits have changed and the consumer controls the data exchange. The range of services we have developed around this knowledge have allowed us to win business with some of the largest companies in the tech space this year” says Sherpa CEO & Founder, Tom Perry. This work was recognised when Sherpa received the coveted Ad Astra award for business excellence in April this year.

“The real key to our success is our people and we have heavily invested in the Sherpa team throughout 2017, to ensure that our capabilities are progressive and expertise varied, as our client base expands” Perry continues. “Lois and Paul are joining a remarkable team and I have no doubt that their wealth of experience across both marketing and sales disciplines will stand us in good stead and be integral in capitalising on the agency’s success and continuing its rapid growth”.

Dixon states “Sherpa is a fantastic and hugely exciting agency to be part of. The company has a great, forward thinking culture and I am thrilled to be part of a talented, experienced, award winning team in such a fast-paced industry. I am confident that through our combined efforts, we will deliver on the strategy of becoming the number one marketing agency for the tech sector in 2018”.

Hancock added: “I am genuinely excited about joining Sherpa as it powers on through its next stage of growth. Without doubt, Sherpa has the knowledge and expertise required to help all companies within the technology sector to differentiate and grow their bottom line. Having previously held senior sales, VP and management roles for several start-up companies, such as Alteon Web Systems, Acme Packet, Camiant, Anuta Networks and of late TDB Fusion, I am focused on taking the agency to the next stage of its development in what is a very fast moving and exciting sector”.
